One thing I constantly come across, whenever I see classic fashion posts. Is how rigid they are about what to put in your wardrobe. Personally, I want you to be able to decide for yourself. I’m not here to tell you what you can and cannot put in your wardrobe. Classic fashion is a wonderful way to build a wardrobe. It’s sustainable and the styles never really go out of fashion. But it doesn’t leave much room to experiment. So I am here, writing this post. Giving you an idea of how you can stay classic. While experimenting with new trends, and having fun!

Building your wardrobe with classics

Building up your wardrobe with classics is investing in things you would want to keep forever in your wardrobe. Choosing things you would wear even five or six years from now. Your creating a foundation for yourself, when you create a wardrobe with classics. Your keeping that button up to go with that trendy skirt. So you don’t look like the seventeen year old girl who’s dressed so trendy her outfit doesn’t go. Keeping one piece classic, while wearing a trendy piece. Makes you look more put together. While also being able to express your fashion interest.

Experiment with trends!

The Minimal Classic allows you to still express your fashionista side. While also experimenting with trends. And being able to mix and match. You have more freedom to choose what goes in your wardrobe this season.

Use your classics as a base!

Using your classics as a base could mean wearing a trendy top with a classic pair of trousers. Or a classic top with a trendy skirt. Or even wearing a classic outfit. With trendy accessories. It’s up to you!

Have fun!

Clothes are meant to be fun! Don’t believe me? Go ask any five year old girl who loves playing dress up. Clothes are pratical. But it doesn’t mean they have to be boring. so, have fun with your wardrobe! You get to decide what stays and what goes! So have fun this season!
